Time management for college is like milk for cookies; it’s crucial to an enjoyable experience. All university students have a lot to balance between classes, study time, exams, papers, and sleep. Today’s adult college students are also balancing working full-time jobs, raising families, and balancing a full-time college load.
It’s a lot to do, friend. At times it can feel overwhelming and hopeless, but it isn’t.
While earning my master’s degree and working full-time I experimented with lots of approaches to managing my time. I learned what worked best for me, and more importantly, time management is simply a set of skills and strategies anyone can learn and apply to maximize the results of their efforts.
What does that mean? It means:
- accomplishing a lot from small study sessions.
- never forgetting an assignment or exam again.
- using the Pomodoro for intense focus.
