A few study supplies to help you study smarter + links to what I love using.
Here are some of the college study supplies that I love and use! It’s no secret that I love using Amazon to save time. Living in a rural area, it takes a decent chunk of time to drive to the store, track down an item (if it is even available), wait in line to check out, and drive back home. This feels like such a waste of time when I could be spending that time studying and otherwise being productive. Instead, I regularly shop Amazon and take the time savings to work on things that are much more important to me.
Here is a list of my favorite college study supplies. The best news—they are all available on Amazon.

Study Planning
First up, I have to plug my own eBook, The Successful Student Study Plan. It outlines my secret system for tracking what needs to get done, confidently working on assignments, and crafting the perfect study plan so you really can study less. Less time. Less stress. Less overwhelm.
Note-Taking Supplies
You know how I feel about taking notes—it is crucial to making your studies productive and less painful. I often will take notes on paper during a lecture or meeting and then transfer them into my digital OneNote system when I do a quick review. If I am studying at home I take notes directly in OneNote. Some of my must-have note-taking supplies are a notebook, colored pens (because at least this adds some element of fun to the task), and a Bluetooth keyboard paired with my iPad. Here are the specific note-taking supplies that I use:
College Study Supplies for On-the-Go
When you are taking online courses and working, you have to plan to study on-the-go. Some supplies that help me be ready to pack up my books, notes, and get productive no matter where I am at include a great travel coffee mug, simple tote bag, earplugs to get focused, and a laptop sleeve to protect my computer. These are the exact supplies that I use (except the tote bag, which is no longer available).
Final Exam Study Supplies
Finally, here are a few additional items that are really useful when doing your final exam prep. I transfer some of my key facts to colored notecards, work through problems on my whiteboard (which is also extremely useful when taking online proctored exams), and am really mindful about backing my work up to an external hard drive so that I’m not starting a paper over at the last minute.
